How do I register as a property owner?
To register, please click on the link below on Search 4 Holiday Rentals
http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your details in the Register/Sign-up area, all fields are mandatory, so please complete them all.
When you have completed the entry of your details and clicked 'Register your details' you will be sent an email containing a confirmation link: please click on the link to complete the sign-up process.
Once you have registered as a user, you will be able to update properties immediately.
How do I change from a Free, to a paid advertisement?
Once your property is approved, you can change to a paid advertisement at any time by clicking on http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties', click on 'upgrade' my listing.
How do I upload my property?
To upload your property, please click on the link below on Search 4 Holiday Rentals http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com
When you have completed the entry of your details and clicked 'Confirm details' you will be sent an email containing a confirmation link: please click on this link to complete the sign-up process. This will allow you to upload your property/properties to the site.
Please allow up to 24hrs for your property to be approved. You will only be able to amend your listing once it has been approved.
How do I add my 4 free photographs?
Once your property is approved, you can add up to 4 free photographs by clicking on http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties', 'edit properties', scroll through to step 4 to upload your additional photos
To add your additional (paid for) images, please logon to http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties', click on 'upload extra images', browse to select your chose image and add a caption (description) for each. Click on 'upload' to add to your property advertisement page.
To purchase and pay for extras, please follow the instructions below:
Please logon to http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties', click on 'purchase extras'. Tick Extra images and select 2, and click 'purchase optional extras' button.
The following message will be displayed.
To complete this process please visit the 'Pay an Invoice' section and make your payment.
Click 'Pay an invoice' and then on the next screen 'Make payment'.
This will take you to the 'Voicepay' payment portal, where you can make your payment.
I cannot enter a currency symbol into the minimum price per day field
It is not necessary to enter a currency into the price box as this set during the property registration process in step 1. This box will only accept numbers.
How do I add a new property?
Login to http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'add a property' from the top toolbar.
You will need to complete the 6 stages to upload your property fully.
At the very end of the process you will be asked to choose between, a) 12 months free advertising, or b) 24 months paid.
After having completed step 1 and clicked through to step 2 your property details are automatically saved allowing you to return at any time to complete your listing. A full listing can be uploaded in less than 20 minutes.
Please allow up to 24hrs for approval of your property. You will be able to amend details of your listing once it has been approved.
I want to change my prices to 'per week'
Prices are set 'per night' as this was the preferred choice of the vast majority of advertisers questioned, due to the flexibility that this format offers. Search 4 holiday rentals do not intend to offer a weekly rate option. to change. If your minimum stay is 'per week' during the summer, this can of course be stated in the advertisement itself.
How do I update my availability?
Once your property is approved, you can edit your availability by clicking on http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties'.
Click on 'update availability' beneath the listing
Click on 'Add / View Availability'
Tick the date boxes that you need to update
and finally, update calendar availability at the bottom of the page.
You will then see a screen which says 'Your booking request has been updated and saved for the dates.
How do I confirm a booking received by email?
When an enquiry is sent to your from Search 4 holiday rentals, you will receive an email containing details of the dates and contact details of the enquirer. Contained within the email, you will find a link to automatically accept/refuse the booking, the email will look something like this:

Clicking this link will take you directly to the Calendar availability section of your listing (you may be required to enter your registered email address and password). Here, you are able to accept or deny any booking request.
How do I confirm a booking?
Once your property is approved, you can edit your availability by clicking on http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties'.
Click on 'update availability' beneath the listing
Click on 'Review booking requests'
Click on 'Accept this booking' or Deny this booking' as required.
You will then see a screen which shows 'booking confirmed' or 'booking denied'.
How do I view or remove a booking?
Once your property is approved, you can edit your availability by clicking on http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'view my properties', 'live properties'.
Click on 'update availability' beneath the listing
Click on 'view / remove bookings'
A confirmation page will appear that says 'Booking Removed'
How can I change my user details?
Once your property is approved, you can edit your personal details by clicking on http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on Login to the Search 4 website, button.
Click on 'my account' on the top toolbar, and select edit my personal details.
I've forgotten my password
Go to http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com click on the 'forgot password' button, which is beneath the 'login section' on the right-hand side of the page.
Enter your registered password into the 'To request a password re-set please fill in your details below' field, and click 'request your password'.
An email will be sent to you containing a password reminder link. Click on this link to complete the password re-set. You should receive this within the next 30 minutes, please also check in you SPAM/Junk mail.
How do I change my email address?
To change your email address, Login to http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com enter your registered email address and password, click on 'my account' from the top toolbar, click on 'change my password' from the side menu. You will need to add your current password, new password and to confirm your password, then select, 'update your password'.
My region is not on your database.
Should your 'region' not be listed on our database, it can be added by our property review team.
To do this, please log-in at http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com using your registered email address and password and click on 'Click here to contact us' at the top-right of the owners page, your contact details will be automatically entered.
Please add your 'Country' and required 'region' in the message box and 'submit message' to send. We will add your new 'region' within 24hrs and inform you by email when completed.
My town/area is not on your database.
Should your 'town/area' not be listed on our database, it can be added manually as you register your property with Search 4 holiday rentals.
To do this select 'Other- please enter below' which allows you to enter a new area/town which we will add to our database once approved.
I need to remove a booking
To remove an incorrect booking, please follow the instructions below:
Login at http://owners.search4holidayrentals.com
Enter your email address and password
Click: My properties
Click: Update availability
Click: View / remove bookings
Click: 'Remove this booking' button for the appropriate dates.
Your booking will be removed
