Description
Berry Park is a splendid Victorian Country house set in six acres of attractive gardens and fields in the beautiful Devon countryside, next to the Cornish border. It is close to the sea, in the unspoiled hamlet of Welcombe. There are spectacular sea and countryside views. We have an excellent licenced Restaurant open every evening. We have a Games room and solar heated outdoor Swimming pool . Children love our friendly, tame farm animals and pets. Extensive gardens with barbecue, picnic tables and loungers.
Originally a Victorian Country Gentleman's residence, the house has been skilfully converted into apartments of various sizes sleeping from 2 to 9 people. All have been carefully modernised to provide every comfort, whilst retaining the original Victorian features giving them style and character. There are also two 16th century cottages adjoining the house.
All the accommodation is fully equipped and we maintain a very high standard of cleanliness. All kitchens have full size cooker, fridge and microwave. Some have freezer. Larger accommodation has full bathroom with shower, smaller units have shower rooms. Lounge/dining rooms all have modern suites, fitted carpets and colour TV, most have bedsettees. Primrose Cottage has a woodburner. Bedrooms have 4'6" double beds and/or 3' single beds, linen is included in the price and beds made up ready for your arrival.
