Between St Malo/Dinard (with beaches) and the medieval port of Dinan, La Moinerie a pair of terraced fisherman's cottages, with four bedrooms and four bath/shower rooms. It is situated at the end of a winding country lane and faces the beautiful River Rance, which at high water laps the slipway at the foot of the front garden. The setting of the house is very peaceful and there are stunning uninterrupted views over the river from all bedrooms and the sitting room which is on the middle of the three floors.

Description
The spacious 150 sq metre property sleeps 8 (plus one baby in cot) in 4 bedrooms, all ensuite.
The entrance on the first floor leads into a carpeted dining room/kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, modern kitchen units and a calor gas cooker. There is a large pine dining table and chairs and a woodburning stove. This leads into a spacious sitting room. From the sitting room there is a staircase to the ground floor which has two bedrooms with bathrooms en suite. One room has twin beds and the bathroom has a w.c. and hip bath; the second room has a double bed - the bathroom has a w.c. and a conventional bath and also houses an automatic washing machine. There is a shower fitment in both bathrooms. Staircases lead from the two first floor rooms up to two almost identical bedrooms, one with one single bed and one small double bed. The other bedroom has a regular sized double bed. Each of these bedrooms has its own w.c., washbasin and shower. There is electric central heating throughout.

Local sights
Plouer-sur-Rance is five minutes by car and has a good supermarket, plus the usual boulangerie etc.. The lovely medieval port of Dinan is also just ten minutes drive away: St Malo and Dinard (with beaches) are twenty minutes away. The ferry port of St Malo has a convenient overnight crossing from Portsmouth. There is absolutely no danger of not having anything to do in this part of Brittany - if you are prepared to be in St. Malo by 8.00am you can even have a day in Jersey!
