Description
Appartamento Silvano is a bright 60-square-meter (about 646 square feet)
apartment which sleeps six people. It is located in the historical center of
Rome, 1 km (about 0.6 mile) away from Stazione Termini (Termini Railway
Station). It’s equipped with air-conditioning and elevator.
There are two double bedrooms, a living-room with a divan bed and a kitchenette,
and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower taps.
The place
The apartment is on the third floor of an elegant building with an elevator. You
will be only 50 meters (about 164 feet) away from one of the ancient doors of
Rome, Porta Maggiore, and you will have a view of the ancient walls built by the
Emperor Aurelius to protect the city.
Even the building where you will stay is part of the modern history of Rome and
dates back to the beginning of the industrial period. It is actually an old mill
which has been restored to embrace elegant homes. Shape and size have been
preserved from the original building.
In the surroundings you will have boulevards lined with trees and large streets.
Supermarkets, shops, bars, and restaurants are all at hand.
You won’t need a car during your stay at Appartamento Silvano since there is a
bus stop a few steps away.
The house
Appartamento Silvano is bright and sunlit. It features large windows through
which you will have a wide view of the neighborhood. You will have a gracious
living-room furnished with a divan bed, a dining table, and a kitchenette. There
is also a satellite TV. In the kitchenette you will have a two-burner stove, an
oven, a microwave oven, a fridge with freezer, and a dishwasher.
Both bedrooms feature a double bed and large windows overlooking the city. One
of the bedrooms have a 170 x 200 cm (about 67” x 79”) large bed, whereas the
other has a 150 x 200 cm (59” x 79”) large one. The bathroom has a bathtub with
shower taps. There’s also a washing machine in the bathroom.
The apartment has a lustrous floor in honey-color marble. Its furnishings are
well cared for and complete with modern-style furniture. You will enjoy going
back “home” after a day spent visiting the city as you will be welcomed back by
an elegant and pleasant place!
Nearby tourist attractions
Appartamento Silvano is only 50 meters (about 164 feet) away from Porta
Maggiore, and 10 minutes away on foot from the Stazione Termini (Termini Railway
Station), University La Sapienza, San Lorenzo neighborhood, and the Basilica of
San Giovanni. A few steps away is also the bus stop. At Stazione Termini you
will have the subway station and the main stop of city buses, which will enable
you to conveniently visit this magnificent city!
Our advice when visiting Rome is doing it on foot and not in a hurry, following
itineraries suggested in a good travel guide. Day after day during your vacation,
