Description
Location, near Sitges
This country Farmhouse is set on the edge of the old seaside town of Vilanova, with it´s wide sandy beaches, shops, bars and restaurants and lovely old Rambla' and town plaza.
5 minutes away is the popular seaside resort of Sitges and just a 30 minute car journey takes you into the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona to the North and the historic city of Tarragona to the South.
This lovely detached property is a recently converted farm building set in the grounds of a 500 year old listed country estate.
Accommodation near Sitges
The house benefits from double height ceilings, with exposed wooden beams and spacious airy rooms. It is decorated in a traditional Catalan style, with beautiful terracotta tiled floors. The house looks out onto the private pool with a large terrace for dining and sun bathing and views of the sea in the background.
There is a large living area, fully equipped kitchen, dining area , two bathrooms, one with a private jacuzzi for the winter months and a large private gym. There are two large double bedrooms and a corner of the gym is sectioned off with three additional single beds.
Next door to the house is a big summer kitchen with additional dining facilities as well as a BBQ and a private walled garden with its own lawn for the sole use of the guests, which is ideal for children.
Fresh produce is available from the farm where the owners grow their own vegetables and rear chickens.
Alternatively, if you are a nature lover, you will be in heaven discovering the hundreds of acres of pretty unspoilt natural parkland just inland from Sitges. Port Aventura is a 40 minute drive away.

Golf
There are several gold courses to choose from within 30 minutes drive from the farmhouse
There is the Terramar which is an 18 hole, golf coure in Sitges. With some fantastic views.
There is Portal Del Roc which is an 18 hole Pitch & Putt Which is in Vilanova.
Also there is El Vendrell which is another 18 hole, Pitch & Putt but a little bit more challenging than Portal Del Roc.
Beaches
You have the choice of Vilanova or Sitges beach. Both reccommended. Vilanova beach is wider with more space. There are pedalos, canoes to rent. Sitges has around 17 beaches with a mixture of nudist, gay and family friendly beaches. Further you go away from the town quieter the beaches become. With plenty of cafes and bars along the sea front to grab a bite to eat or drink, a perfect day out to enjoy your holiday.
Barcelona
You can get to barcelona by the train. There is a train station in Vilanova. It takes around 35 minutes on the train. An amazing place to visit. With a hudge variety of places to see and things to do.
