Description
VILLA JASMINE - This magnificent FAMILY FRIENDLY villa is fully serviced with a full time Thai CHEF, housekeeper and poolman/gardener. FABULOUS BREAKFASTS ARE INCLUDED . The chef will cook all your favourite Thai dishes for you, she will purchase all your food fresh at the market then prepare and cook it.
The villa is on a gentle west facing hill above gorgeous Kata Beach. All bedrooms have air-conditioning & fans and their own private terrace. The master bedroom has a four poster bed, and a large bathroom with walk-in shower, large double JACUZZI bath & twin wash hand basins set in a black marble worktop.
On the first floor there is a superb sun terrace with a west facing infinity pool and Jacuzzi . This opens from the luxurious lounge which seats 8 & has a 48 inch flat screen satellite TV, DVD player & CD player. There is a fully fitted European kitchen with marble top breakfast bar and a separate dining area for 8, which also opens to the sun terrace.

Kata Beach
Our villas are situated close to one of the finest beaches on Phuket - Kata Beach , just south of Karon Beach, on the South West coast of Phuket, is a fabulous all year round beach. Facing due west in to the Andaman Sea and Indian Ocean it is blessed with wonderful sunsets all year round.
FROM MAY TO OCTOBER there is great surf with all sizes of boards for hire, and a stiff on-shore breeze making it very invigorating. There are all sizes of boards for hire, from kids and beginners through to Malibou and the big surf canoes. As this is the Australian winter, many Australians have started discovering the delights of Kata Beach at this time of the year. The surf may not be as big as BONDI, but it sure is warmer!
FROM NOVEMBER TO APRIL THE SEA IS VIRTUALLY FLAT CALM AND CLEAR, ideal for swimming , snorkelling and learning to dive. There are also local boats for hire to other beaches and islands, and speed boats, jet skis , water skiing and parascending all available. Kata Beach really comes alive in the busy season. During the first week of December, Kata bay fills with yachts and crews from around the globe to compete in the annual King’s Cup Regatta. This week long yachting festival adds excitement to the area with daily sailing class races and parties until the small hours. At night the south end of Kata Beach comes alive with a reggae flavour and regular bands playing the bars are a lively place after dark.
Kata Beach is a popular year round vacation spot for families. It is a long curved beach with plentiful sun loungers and beach vendors to cater for the crowds. By day, relaxation , massages and watersport are the main drawcards on the white sands of Kata Beach . Snorkellers can also venture further out to Ko Pu - a small island offshore with several reefs on the way.
At Kata Beach , several hotels and resorts line the roads back from the beachfront with all tastes and budgets catered for. There are very few absolute beachfront resorts , the best by a distance is Mom Tri’s Boathouse Wine and Grill Bar (The author's favourite restaurant in the whole world). Villa Royale on the headland at the Southern end of Kata Beach offers beautiful tropical garden settings, beachside dining, great swimming pools and wonderful sunsets. The large low key expanse of Club Mediterranee set in gardens and palm trees along the north end of Kata Beach has prevented over-development of this beautiful beach. Modest guesthouses can also be discovered just a few minutes walk from the beach.
At night, most visitors seem content with dining, shopping and visiting a few nightspots. Kata village is an international affair with restaurants offering cuisines from around the globe – including Italian, Scandinavian and Steakhouses - as well as many Thai seafood cafes with traditional local feasts. Nightlife is low-key, ranging from small bars to the famed Easy Rider Club with live bands in the busy tourist season from November to March.

If you are a golfer - anything from a professional /scratch player to a 36 handicap beginner - and you have never played golf in Thailand, then in the opinion of this villa owner, you haven't lived ! The whole experience, from the fabulous courses to the warm and friendly welcome for all skill levels, adds so much to the enjoyment of the game. Add to this the wonderful and experienced all female caddies who smooth your path, congratulate you on a good shot, look after your clubs, advise on club selection , give you the line of the put and even apply your sun tan lotion so that you do not get greasy hands , and you have the most enjoyable experience.
There are three superb full courses within a 35 min drive from the villas, a challenging 9 hole course, plus a new driving range and 9 hole course within 10 min. There are another 3 championship courses within a 50 min drive. You can contact the courses yourself and book your own tee times, or we can introduce you to a booking agent who will organise all your tee times and transport and recommend the best restaurants afterwards.
