Description
Villa Persefone is an elegant and welcoming three-story villa built on the sloping cliff in front of the sea. It sleeps 20 people. From Villa Persefone you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of the gulf of Salerno far in the horizon. Villa Persefone is 500 square meters (5380 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, private terraces with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and broadband Internet access through Ethernet LAN.
You will be roughly 1.5 km (one mile) from the center of Salerno, where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation and the tourist port. You will reach Villa Persefone from the main entrance of the building without having to climb any steps. Because of its position, overlooking a busy town and the commercial port, some traffic and city noise can be heard.
To stay at Villa Persefone you will need a car. You will be able to park it inside the entrance gate.
Villa Persefone is tended by a maid and a housekeeper, who reside in two rooms on the upstairs floor.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 12 meters (39 feet) large by 15 meters (50 feet) long. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
Garden
The garden is 5000 square meters (54000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by perfumed citrus trees. It is equipped with deck chairs and a swing. Here you will also find a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea.
Ground FloorTerrace
The terrace is 200 square meters (2150 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. The terrace is equipped with sofas and armchairs, as well as with tables and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the sea.
Living Room 1
The first living room is paved with hand-made majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are elegant and refined. They include sofas and armchairs. There is an elegant fireplace decorated in marble. The dining table can accommodate 24 guests. In this room you will find a satellite television, a DVD player and a CD player. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through five French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Living Room 2
The furnishings of the second living room include sofas, armchairs and a desk. In this room you will find a satellite television, a personal computer and an Ethernet plug for broadband Internet connection (don't forget your cable!). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio and the garden with a view of the sea through a French door. The room has a window with a view of the garden. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
The kitchen is professional-grade, equipped with a eight-burner gas cooker and a four-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a counter refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and other small appliances. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the terrace.

The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet.
