Guadalest
The village of Guadalest is the historic capital of the region, and in times gone by was a Moorish settlement. In parts of the village you can still sense the Moorish influence in its streets and monuments. Guadalest is special and unique , topped by a high terrace, that you can reach by a passing through St Josephs Gateway, that has been carved out of the mountain. At the top of the mountain was where historically lived the most important people of the village - the administrators of the feudal lords of the area. The gateway divides the two parts of the village. The lower part of the village is where you will find many shops and museums ( the miniture museum, the museum of cribs etc)
Walking & Hiking
We can show you the best walks in the valley. We have routes and maps, that will allow you to see the best of the area , and discover the wonderful mountains,water fountains, ice wells ,and countryside for yourselves.
Beaches
20 kms far from the Benidorm & Altea Beach.
Golf
Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2005, Real de Faula Golf has two 18-hole courses. The Levante Course is a full length par 72 championship course, while the Poniente course is a par 62 executive course. The golf course is set in a pine valley with sea and mountain views and is very close to the seaside resort of Benidorm.
Mountain Bike
If you are fans of mountain biking at its finest , you will be pleased to know that you are dealing with the people responsible for the Cycling Club of Guadalest , organisers of the Guadalest Mountain Bike ralley, so nobody has better knowledge of the bike routes and valley.
Altea
In the Marina Baixa region, the city of Altea opens up to the sea from one of the most beautiful bays on the Mediterranean coast. On the top of a hill, protected from cold winds by the mountains behind, this place has all the charm of a Mediterranean coast village. Altea is located 15 kms from Guadalest.
