Description
A spacious and airy 2 bed villa, sleeping 6, with a large garden area offered at extremely low prices. Roomy and well furnished by the owners for their own use with a better than usually well equipped open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, large open plan sitting/dining area with a roomy sofa,s, opens out to a double bed, and comfy chairs, large dining table and 6 dining chairs. Leads to downstairs modern shower room with toilet and washbasin bathroom with bath and shower and then to the first floor where there are 2 good sized bedrooms. One is a double with a large balcony opening off the bedroom. The other has 2 singles and overlooks the garden area. Both with spacious fitted wardrobes. There is also a full size modern bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, washbasin and washing machine on this floor. On the next floor there is a large, private rooftop solarium with table, chairs and sunbeds.
Outside is a covered patio area with patio furniture, a large sunny garden area with plenty of room for children to play safely, all gated,and a large built in barbeque area- an ideal space to while away the hot summer evenings.
The rooftop solarium area is a private well furnished area with beautiful views to the sea which is less than 5 mins away by car. The days are warm enough in the early part of the year for lunch on the terrace or sunbathing in your own private rooftop solarium and long enough for an early evening drink outside enjoying the last of the sunshine. Of course once we hit the months of May onwards you can take advantage of the wonderful Spanish weather all day long - ideal for a holiday forgetting the winter snow and gloom! For families nursery equipment – cots, buggies, highchairs etc – can be booked for your arrival, cutting down on your luggage costs.
Ideal for a golf break,family holiday or a lazy holiday with friends! This area is a Mecca for golfers - we now have 50, yes 50!, courses within an hour and a half radius but in only a maximum 10 mins drive you have a choice of 3 local courses.
For the golfers amongst you, let us book courses and tee times and leave your car at home - we arrange everything for you - including breakfast! The Costa Blanca is a world renowned tourist destination for sun lovers but there is so much more to the area than just sun. The world Heath Authority say it is the healthiest place in the world to live, this is generally attributed to the 2 large natural salt lakes in the area- a wonderful sight - they change colour to lilac and pink with high temperatures and are a natural habitat for many types of birds (Santa Pola alone is home to 160 different species) and wildlife. It is normal to see flocks of flamingoes along the shores.
We have mud baths at San Pedro del Pinatar which will help with your aches pains and skin conditions.
Popular with Spanish and British tourists alike there are endless miles of Blue Flag beaches and Q beaches stretching from Denia in the North to the calm sheltered waters of the Mar Menor further south close to the La Manga facilities enjoyed by footballers and golfers.
In between we have the lively resort of Torrevieja- well known for its shops, restaurants and busting Marina. An interesting town with a typical town square in front of the church, a lovely sea front with a lovely new Gaudu inspired paseo – ideal to sit in the shade and people watch!. The Easter celebrations are a delight as is the 3 Kings celebration in early January and all sorts in between. A truly international town welcoming to all.
In July you can visit the spectacular Moors and Christians celebrations in Guardamar or try September in Cartagena to feel part of a film set for Gladiator when the celebrations take place for when the Romans invaded.
Valencia, where the Americas Cup has taken place ,the mountaintop village of Guadalest where the almond trees blossom endlessly in February, Alicante, Elche, Murcia......there are numerous places all with their own special attractions.......come and visit us soon!
History lovers and tourists alike will enjoy visiting the Roman town of Cartagena, historic Murcia, the palm park (over 13,000 palms) in Elche, the cosmopolitan town and resort of Alicante and, on the doorstep, the local town of Torrevieja with its many facilities. This former fishing village is now a bustling town, with many nationalities, which has preserved its unique charm and character-take an early evening stroll with the Spanish families along the paseo past the marina and beach side calling in at one of the many bars or ice cream parlours before eating at one of the huge selection of tapas bars or restaurants. Watch the sand sculptors at work, enjoy the nightly beachfront street market and the small fairground area for younger children. If you are lucky you will be visiting whilst one of the many fiestas are being celebrated enabling you to enjoy seeing the Spanish people celebrate centuries old traditions.
Benidorm, where Paramount have the Terra Mitica theme park with rollercosters to rival those of Disney and Terra Natura, the huge zoo, plus the many other attractions of the town including the Benidorm Palace, is only an hour and a quarter away.
Locally we have both ten pin and crown green bowling facilities, bike hire, sailing, windsurfing, English cinema,go karting,horse riding, fishing, boat trips, quad biking, adventure trails, scenic walks, natural park areas, an old silver mine area, La Manga, spa treatments, Water Park,gyms,shopping. A 5 minute walk away is a crazy golf course with bar facilities - great for a relaxing family night out.
Street markets are held each day in different towns - the ideal opportunity to shop for a wide range of fruits and vegetables with the locals. The Saturday markets at nearby Playa Flamenca is far more than just a food market - everything you can think of is available here -souvenirs of you holiday and household goods, at very competitive prices, for your home.
The property is situated in the peaceful residential area of Playa Golf 2, a community established for 7 years with local supermarket, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance.
Bars and restaurants are a short walk away but within a 5 min car ride is the resort of Cabo Roig one way, or Campoamor and Las Ramblas the other. Both have a very good selection of amenities to suit all pockets. If you prefer not to drive there is a local bus service to the beach and other amenities.
Local beaches have Blue Flag awards and 3 also have the prestigious Q awards. This area is rated by the world health authority as the healthiest place in the world to live. The wonderful climate will relax and rejuvenate you! Try the mud baths at San Pedro del Pinatar to alleviate aches and pains.
There are commercial centres for shopping and also very interesting street markets nearby but, of course, a major attraction of this area is the golf. Within a short distance there are 3 renowned golf courses: Real de Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin, Las Colinas, which has very good advance reviews, is opening shortly and within an hour and a half there is a choice of at least 50! The fallas celebrations in Valencia in March, truly spectacular Moors and Christians re-enactments at various dates along the coast through the summer and the simply stunning celebrations of the Cartagenian Romans & Cartagenians week long festival in September each year to mention just a few.

Satellite TV is provided with 50 plus channels. Air con is provided in the main sitting/dining area and both bedrooms together with ceiling fans. Both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space.
For families we are able to hire all nursery items at very reasonable rates with a local company who pride themselves in the cleanliness and safety of their equipment - save on the luggage allowance and book nappies too! Just let us know what you need and we´ll do our best to provide it for you.

The property has a secure garden area with plenty of room for children to play safely and to have their own paddling pool and toys whilst in view from the terrace where you will be able to relax.
There are 3 steps to the patio and entrance area to the property. Accomodation is on 2 floors with a further staircase to the rooftop solarium.
The communal swimming pool is in a gated area less than 2 minutes walk away. Children are not able to wander in and local laws state that under 12s are not allowed there unaccompanied, a safe environment for the whole family.

A non refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental cost is required to secure all bookings.
The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If bookings are made within 8 weeks of the rental date the amount is payable in full at the time of booking. At this time we will also require a refundable deposit of £100 against breakages or damage. This will be refunded within 10 working days of the end of your holiday.
Cleaning is included in the rental cost, which is for the property NOT per person. Laundry costs are payable locally at 10E per person.
If Easter falls in March pricing is as per April prices.
Please advise us of any breakages/damages during your stay to enable items to be repaired or replaced before the next visitors arrive.
We are happy for smokers to use the outside areas but please observe no smoking indoors.
